Bill Leverty

Bill Leverty (born January 30, 1962) is an American guitarist currently a member of the hard rock band FireHouse. Leverty was born in Richmond, Virginia. His parents gave him a guitar when he was 4 years old but he didn't stick with it. At the age of 14, Leverty decided to pick up the guitar again, taking some lessons focused on playing chords (as opposed to playing notes). This approach to learning guitar immediately captured his interest and he was soon in a band with his friends from school.
